As a design firm, Bergfeld Studio adds real value to your project's landscape by creating the best design possible within the parameters given; client wants, site needs and constraints, maintenance requirements and expectations, the targeted market (if commercial in nature), budget, phasing and priorities. When you, the client, are comfortable with the site plan and subsequent landscape design, it and all of the details of that design are placed on a level playing field for all site related contractors; landscape, irrigation, concrete, etc., to competitively bid. When the bids are received, it is an 'apples to apples' comparison for the design that you have seen and approved. You are not confused trying to compare one design/build firm's design and price over another's. I assist you in pre-qualifying landscape contractors and inviting them to bid, comparing the bids, answering your questions as well as asking clarification questions of the contractors. During construction, I oversee that the design is implemented to my satisfaction as well as yours.
