<% =Day(Date) %> <% =MonthName(Month(Date)) %> <% =Year(Date) %> Streator Township High School, Streator, Illinois Next Design > Description The Streator Township High School under went an extensive expansion and remodeling project in 2006 and Bergfeld Studio was asked by a community group of parents and Streator Township alumni to develop a courtyard plan that maximizes the potential of the empty space outside the new library. The new courtyard plan provides study and learning spaces for both large and small groups, a small, stage for plays, concerts, school programs, or outdoor dining. The courtyard design’s orientation makes the best use of southern exposures while screening the gymnasium and auditorium wings’ large blank walls.
